Service Description

Dry needling is a therapeutic technique used to treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. It involves the insertion of thin needles, similar to acupuncture needles, into specific trigger points or tight bands of muscle tissue, without injecting any substances (hence the term "dry"). The goal of dry needling is to elicit a local twitch response in the muscle fibers, which is thought to help release tension and alleviate pain. This twitch response may also stimulate the body's natural healing processes, such as increased blood flow and the release of endorphins (natural pain-relieving chemicals).
